This is yet another dainty Philippine Dendrochilum and this one's cultivation dates back to only 1913. The plant tag gives a good indication of its small size. The flowers are pure white. Like many others, it grows in the mossy cloud forests above 1000 metres. It is an attractive, small plant.

Note the moss growing in the pot. This is an indication of the humidity and moisture environment in which I have it growing. Most Dendrochilums love a good fresh sphagnum moss media and care must be taken not to let it get waterlogged.

Negatives: Must be kept free from any frost and not allowed to dry out.
